Tottenham Hotspur manager, Ange Postecoglou, has won the Premier League manager of the month for the second successive month.

Ange Postecoglou won the manager of the month in August and was crowned manager of the month in September earlier today, October 13, making him the first coach to win the Premier League award in back-to-back fashion after spending just two months in the league.

The Australian manager triumphed over top competitors like Eddie Howe, Mikel Arteta, Unai Emery, and Jurgen Klopp to emerge as the September manager of the month.

Postecoglou is still unbeaten in the English Premier League. In September, he recorded three wins and one draw in Spurs’ four games. This performance helped Tottenham Hotspur to go into the October international break as the league leaders.

Jurgen Klopp was the last manager to win the first two Manager of the Month awards of any season, and his Liverpool team went on to win the title in the 2019–2020 season.

Postecoglou, who has adapted to the Premier League with lightning speed despite taking over a Tottenham team that finished eighth the previous season and have lost their star player Harry Kane to Bayern Munich, is now expected to win a major title for Spurs this season.

With 20 points from their first eight games, Spurs lead their rivals from north London, Arsenal, on goal differential and are in first place as the league halts for the October FIFA international break.
