The burial ceremony of Nigeria’s first indigenous chartered accountant, Akintola Williams, is currently going on at the Muson Centre in Lagos.
Recall that Pa Williams died at the age of 104 on September 11, 2023, and will be laid to rest today, October 19.
Naija News learnt that the funeral ceremony commenced with a performance by the Muson Choir and Orchestra under the guidance of Emeka Nwokedi.
Some top dignitaries, such as the Chairman of Zenith Bank, Jim Ovia, the Chairman of Troyka Holdings, Limited, Biodun Shobanjo, Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, among other industry leaders, have begun to arrive for the burial ceremony.
