Fede Valverde Extends His Contract At Real Madrid
Fede Valverde has extended his contract with Spanish La Liga giants, Real Madrid, until June 30, 2029, and the deal comes with a one billion euros release clause.
Fede Valverde joined Real Madrid from Ukrainian side Peñarol on July 22, 2016, for a transfer fee worth €5 million. He started his life at Real Madrid from the club’s football academy, RM Castilla.
The 25-year-old Ukrainian midfielder gained promotion to the club’s senior team on July 1, 2018. Since then, the Ukrainian international has scored 19 goals and provided 18 assists in 220 games in all competitions.
Valverde has helped Real Madrid to win one UEFA Champions League title, two FIFA Club World Cups, two La Liga, two UEFA Super Cups, one Spanish Cup, and two Spanish Super Cups.
“Real Madrid C. F. and Fede Valverde have agreed on an extension to the player’s contract which will see him stay at the club until 30 June 2029”, the club said via their official website.
“Valverde arrived at Real Madrid in July 2016 at just 18 years of age. In his six years playing for the first team, he has quickly become one of the best central midfielders in world football.”
Fede Valverde is the 4th youngster who got a new contract extension from Real Madrid in the last two weeks. Before the Ukrainian midfielder signed his contract extension, Eduardo Camavinga, Vinicius Junior, and Rodrygo had extended their deals with a one billion euro release clause each.
