Jadon Sancho Joins Chelsea From Manchester United, Armando Broja Joins Everton

Chelsea have finalized the signing of Jadon Sancho from Manchester United on a loan deal that will last until the end of the season.

As part of the agreement, Chelsea will have the option to secure the permanent transfer of Jadon Sancho for a fee ranging between £20-25 million in the upcoming summer transfer window.

Jadon Sancho’s stint at Manchester United, following his £73 million transfer from Borussia Dortmund in July 2021, was marred by challenges.

Despite making 83 appearances during his three seasons with the club, Sancho encountered a highly publicized fallout with manager Erik ten Hag, leading to his exclusion from first-team training.

After a loan spell at Dortmund and an absence from United’s squad in the current Premier League fixtures, it became evident that a change of club was necessary for the 24-year-old English winger.

Meanwhile, Everton completed the signing of Armando Broja from Chelsea on a season-long loan, with an option to make the transfer permanent the following summer.

The 22-year-old Albanian international, who was initially set to join Ipswich, found himself making a last-minute switch to Everton just before the transfer deadline on Friday night, August 30.

Broja, who is anticipated to be sidelined until mid-October due to a foot injury, has had loan spells at Vitesse Arnhem, Southampton, and Fulham.
