Nigerian midfielder, Raphael Onyedika is on the verge of completing a permanent transfer to Turkish champions Galatasaray, weeks after his countryman, Victor Osimhen joined the club on loan.

According to Belgian journalist, Sacha Tavolieri, Raphael Onyedika has agreed to a five-year deal with Galatasaray, who are working hard to strengthen their squad before the Turkish transfer window closes.

Galatasaray have been active in the transfer market, securing signings such as Gabriel Sara, Elias Jelert, Ismail Jakobs, and Osimhen on loan from Italian Serie A former champions, Napoli to bolster their squad.

The Turkish giants are now pursuing Raphael Onyedika from Club Brugge, having reached a personal agreement with the 23-year-old Nigeria international. However, their initial offer of €5 million was rejected by Brugge.

Despite this, Onyedika is keen to make the move and has expressed his desire for the two clubs to reach an agreement.

Onyedika, who joined Club Brugge for €9.5 million two years ago, has been an important player for the Belgian side, making five appearances so far in the 2024-2025 season.

It is expected that Brugge will consider a fee in the region of €15 million for the midfielder, as they aim to profit from his sale with three years left on his contract.
