“It Is A Pity Kylian Mbappe Joined Real Madrid” – PSG Coach Luis Enrique Says
Paris Saint-Germain’s manager, Luis Enrique, has expressed regret over Kylian Mbappe’s departure from Real Madrid, describing it as “a pity”.
Kylian Mbappe‘s move to the Spanish club finally materialized this summer following years of intense speculation. The 25-year-old opted to run down his contract with PSG, allowing him to leave as a free agent.
Enrique’s relationship with Mbappe was not without its challenges, as the former Barcelona boss occasionally opted to bench the talented forward.
However, in a recent documentary by Movistar, Enrique painted a picture of Mbappe as a remarkable player and an exceptional individual. He praised Mbappe’s personal qualities, describing him as human, affectionate, and approachable.
While expressing his disappointment over Mbappe’s departure to Madrid, Enrique conveyed his well-wishes for Mbappe’s future, hoping for his continued success at Real Madrid.
The Spanish tactician said: “In Kylian’s case, I met a wonderful player.
“A person of an exceptional personal level, which you rarely find when you arrive and see a player of that level. Human, affectionate, close.
“He is a wonderful player. What a pity he went to Madrid. Especially for us at the time. But life is also part of the game.
“I hope everything goes very well for him.”
