Tinubu Meets FIRS Chairman, Zacch Adedeji

President Bola Tinubu on Monday, engaged in a meeting with the chairman of the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS), Zacch Adedeji.
The two of them met at the Aso Rock Presidential Villa in Abuja.
According to Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the meeting with the FIRS chairman was the first by the President after he returned from his two-week vacation and resumed duties.
“President Bola Tinubu at his desk this morning, after the two week vacation. His first meeting was with FIRS Chairman Zacch Adedeji,” Onanuga wrote on X.
Meanwhile, the Chief of Staff to President Bola Tinubu, Femi Gbajabiamila, has told Nigerians to expect to see the fruits of his boss’s labour following his return to the country.
Naija News reports President Tinubu returned to Nigeria on Saturday after a two-week vacation abroad.
Speaking about the trip, Gbajabiamila told newsmen at the airport after welcoming Tinubu back to the country that the President needed to take a rest as a result of the work he’s been doing for the past one and half years.
The Chief of Staff assured that President Tinubu is back in Nigeria, well rejuvenated and ready to continue from where he left off in terms of putting policies in place and making sure things are done, and the country moves in the right direction.
