2024 CAF Awards Live: Winners In All Categories

Most of the biggest names in African football are currently at the Palais des Congrès in Marrakech, Morocco, for the 2024 CAF Awards, the most prestigious football award ceremony on the continent.

Naija News brings you winners in each category of the CAF awards as they are announced at the venue of the ceremony.

1. Women’s Young Player of the Year:  𝐃𝐨𝐡𝐚 𝐄𝐥 𝐌𝐚𝐝𝐚𝐧𝐢 from Morocco.

2. The Men’s Young Player of the Year: 𝐋𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐚 [Note that the Senegalese youngster who currently plays for AS Monaco in France is winning this category of the award for the second time in a row].

3. The Women’s National Team of the Year: 𝐍𝐢𝐠𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐚. [Note that Nigeria is winning this category for the second time in a row].

4. The Men’s National Team of the Year award: 𝐂ô𝐭𝐞 𝐝’𝐈𝐯𝐨𝐢𝐫𝐞

5. The Men’s Club of the Year: 𝐀𝐥 𝐀𝐡𝐥𝐲 𝐅𝐂 of Egypt.

6. The Women’s Club of the Year: 𝐓𝐏 𝐌𝐚𝐳𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞 of DR Congo.

7. Men’s Interclub Player of the Year: 𝐑𝐨𝐧𝐰𝐞𝐧 𝐖𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐦𝐬 from South Africa.

8. Women’s Interclub Player of the Year: 𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐚 𝐌𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐮𝐝𝐲 from Morocco.

9. Women’s Goalkeeper of the Year: 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐚 𝐍𝐧𝐚𝐝𝐨𝐳𝐢𝐞 from Nigeria. [Note that the Nigerian goalkeeper is winning this category for the second time in a row].

10. Men’s Goalkeeper of the Year: 𝐑𝐨𝐧𝐰𝐞𝐧 𝐖𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐦𝐬 from South Africa.

11. Women’s Coach of the Year: 𝐋𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐚 𝐁𝐨𝐮𝐦𝐞𝐡𝐝𝐢 of TP Mazembe women’s club.

12. The Men’s Coach of the Year: 𝐄𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐞 𝐅𝐚𝐞 of Ivory Coast.

13. The Goal of the Year: 𝗠𝗮𝗯𝘂𝗹𝘂𝗹𝘂 from Angola.

14. The Women’s Player of the Year: 𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐛𝐫𝐚 𝐁𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐚 of Zambia.

15. The Men’s Player of the Year: 𝐀𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐥𝐚 𝐋𝐨𝐨𝐤𝐦𝐚𝐧 from Nigeria.
