New Electricity Tariff Will Kill My Small Business - Joe Igbokwe Cries To Tinubu

An All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain, Joe Igbokwe, has stated that nobody living or dead, should refer to former President Muhammadu Buhari as a failure.

Igbokwe asserted that Buhari created a good foundation for President Bola Tinubu to build upon.

Igbokwe said Nigerians should disregard assertions that Buhari was a failure since his imprints and achievements are obvious to all.

He made this known on his Facebook page: “Let nobody living or dead run away with the thinking that PMB is a failure. Perish the thought.

“He laid the solid foundation for PBAT to build on. We are seeing the footprints and the gains today.”

This comes after former presidential Special Adviser on Political Matters, Babafemi Ojudu, claimed Buhari was not a visionary.

Ojudu claimed that Buhari’s lack of vision led him to oppose former Vice President Yemi Osinbajo’s presidential bid.

He, however, described Buhari as a patriot and an incorruptible leader.

Stampede: Govs, National Assembly Should Teach Us How They Have Been Sharing Palliatives Without Tragedies – Igbokwe

Meanwhile, Igbokwe, has stated that it is time for Nigerians to seek help from State governors and the National Assembly members in distributing palliatives.

Igbokwe said this while reacting to stampedes that led to the death of several people in Okija, Ibadan, and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

Naija News reports that not less than 20 residents of the Okija community in Anambra State lost their lives in the stampede.

The stampede occurred on Saturday during an event for the distribution of rice.

Also, an unspecified number of persons died following a stampede at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Maitama area of Abuja.

Reacting via a post on Facebook, Igbokwe said, “Given what we saw in Ibadan, Abuja and Anambra I think we need to engage the Governors & National Assembly members to teach us how they have been sharing palliatives for years without tragic consequences. We learn everyday.”
