Premier League: Anselmino To Train With Chelsea From January, United’s Zirkzee Reduced To Tears
Chelsea’s summer signing, Aaron Anselmino, is preparing to join the Premier League club for training starting next week.
Football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reports that Anselmino will travel to London on Friday and begin his training with the Premier League club at Cobham in the New Year.
A decision on a potential new loan for the talented 19-year-old has yet to be made at the time of writing.
Anselmino, who signed a seven-year contract with Chelsea last summer, has spent the last few months on loan at his childhood club, Boca Juniors, allowing him to further his development in Argentina.
Recall that the Argentine defender officially signed his first professional contract with Boca Juniors on June 10, 2023.
Meanwhile, Manchester United striker Joshua Zirkzee experienced an emotional breakdown during a recent match against Newcastle.
After being substituted in the first half, with United already trailing 2-0, Zirkzee was visibly upset as he left the pitch in the 33rd minute. The £36.5 million summer signing faced some jeers from the fans as he made his way off.
After some time in the tunnel, Zirkzee, who couldn’t hold back his tears due to the early substitution, according to beIN Sports, returned to the bench with a water bottle as he watched the Red Devils struggle against Newcastle at Old Trafford.
