Enyimba Get New Dates For Rescheduled NPFL Fixtures
The Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) has officially announced the dates for Enyimba’s rescheduled fixtures, providing an exciting opportunity for the team to regain momentum.
Enyimba’s matchday 17 encounter against Nasarawa United is set for Wednesday, January 8, at the Enyimba International Stadium in Aba. Following that, they will face Kwara United on Wednesday, January 15, at the Kwara State Sports Complex in Ilorin.
Despite facing a challenging streak without a win in their last seven league matches, Enyimba remain determined to improve their standing, currently holding the ninth position on the NPFL table with 29 points.
Meanwhile, Shooting Stars’ technical adviser, Gbenga Ogunbote, has encouraged his players to prepare for a competitive second half of the 2024-2025 NPFL season. After the team’s return from the New Year break, Ogunbote emphasized the importance of readiness and resilience.
“We recognize that the upcoming second round will be quite challenging, building on the difficulties faced during the first round,” Ogunbote said. “Our current position will undoubtedly present additional challenges, but I am confident our players are keenly aware and prepared for what lies ahead.”
