‘They Are Adults’ – Segun Arinze Speaks On Homosexuality In Nollywood
Veteran Nollywood actor, Segun Arinze, has reacted to the claims of homosexuality in the Nigerian movie industry.
Naija News reports that the thespian, in a recent interview with Arise TV, said he does not engage in homosexual activities.
According to the 59-year-old movie star, those who engage in homosexuality are adults, and they have the right to do whatever they want.
Arinze expressed his preference for living a straightforward life, focusing on his business and being a professional
He said, “I do not bend over, so I cannot react to it. Well if they do bend over, they should keep bending. That is their problem. They are adults and they have a right to do whatever they want to do. It is none of my business.
“I am not going to concern myself with that. I do not like those lash backs, I like living my life straightforward, doing my business and being a professional that I am.”
In other news, Nollywood producer cum marketer, Chijioke Ike, is dead.
Naija News reports that Ike’s demise was announced by his colleague, Ajemba Stanley Chibueze, better known as Stanley Ontop.
In the post via his Instagram page on Wednesday, Stanley Ontop said the filmmaker died at his home in the eastern part of Nigeria.
According to Stanley, the marketer slumped and died during a family gathering, noting that the untimely demise came as a rude shock to him.
