Transfer: Marmoush Agrees To Join Man City As Erling Haaland Renews Contract At Etihad

An Egyptian professional footballer, Omar Marmoush, is reportedly poised to finalize a transfer to Manchester City following a verbal agreement between the Premier League club and Eintracht Frankfurt regarding the striker.

Marmoush is known for his versatility as an attacking player, capable of playing in various positions across the front line.

This season, the Egyptian forward has netted 15 goals in the Bundesliga, placing him just one goal behind Bayern Munich’s Harry Kane, who has scored 16.

Last week, Marmoush reached a preliminary five-year contract agreement with City, contingent upon a final agreement between the two clubs.

Eintracht Frankfurt has set a valuation of £67.5 million (€80 million) for the player.

On Monday, the departing sporting director of City, Txiki Begiristain, engaged in further negotiations with Eintracht, during which both clubs made progress toward finalizing a price for Marmoush.

City’s offer presented on Wednesday is reported to be slightly below Frankfurt’s initial asking price, estimated at around £59 million (€70 million) fixed, with additional performance-related bonuses ranging from £4.2 million to £8.4 million (€5 million to €10 million).

The English champions will now focus on finalizing transfers for Palmeiras talent Vitor Reis and Lens’ Abdukodir Khusanov.

Meanwhile, Norwegian professional footballer, Erling Haaland, has signed a new deal at Manchester City, valid until June 2034.

Football transfer expert, David Ornstein, reported this on Friday (today).

According to him, the agreement is valid for 9.5 years.

A release clause will be valid from 2029 but only available at very high numbers.
