Tragedy Strikes As FCT Police Commissioner Loses Son In Car Accident

Tragedy has befallen the family of the Commissioner of Police for the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Olatunji Disu, following the loss of his son in a horrific car accident on Monday.

Naija News understands that the loss has left Disu and his family in profound grief, casting a shadow over his recent assumption of leadership at the FCT Police Command.

The deceased, Adam Kaka Disu, a graduate, had just completed his one-year National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in the Ministry of Tourism, Abuja.

The news of the young man’s untimely death has elicited an outpouring of condolences from colleagues, friends, and members of the public. Many have expressed their sympathies and offered prayers for the family during this difficult time.

In an emotional twist of fate, CP Disu himself had earlier on Monday paid a condolence visit to CSP A.A. Sambo, the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of Ushafa Division, who also lost his son.

Disu assumed duty as the 32nd Commissioner of Police for the FCT Police Command in October.

He took over from AIG Benneth Igweh, who was promoted to Assistant Inspector General of Police and posted to Zone 7 Headquarters.
