Burna Boy: ‘One Step Back Is Not Running Away’ – Speed Darlington
Controversial Nigerian singer, Speed Darlington, has asserted that one step back does not mean running away in a fight.
Naija News recalls that Darlington was arrested for alleged cyber-stalking and attributing the Grammy award of Nigerian singer, Burna Boy, to his connections with the embattled American rapper, Diddy.
Diddy, whose legal battles with the FBI made headlines, is currently facing multiple sex trafficking and rape charges.
After his initial release on bail in October, Darlington insisted that he would not cease public criticism until Burna Boy compensated him.
Following the development, he was rearrested during a performance in Imo State on November 27, 2024, and held in Kuje prison for over two months before being released on January 21, 2025.
Reacting to the singer’s release from police custody, Burna Boy took to his Instagram page on Tuesday night to issue a stern warning to him.
“If you like misbehave again, you’ll go back to where you come from! And this time around, there will be no mercy! Don’t m*ss with ODG,” Burna Boy wrote.
However, Speed Darlington, via his Instagram page on Thursday, shared a video of two rams locked in a fierce battle with their horns crashing against each other.
He said, “I’m back. To those fighting, one step back, it is not running away, he went to gather energy and launch back with a banger!”
