Tinubu Celebrates Most Superior Evangelist Taiwo Oshin On 100th Birthday

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has paid tribute to Most Superior Evangelist Taiwo Oshin in celebration of his 100th birthday.

Evangelist Oshin, a prominent member of the Adegorushen Alaagbe family and the patriarch of the Lasunwo royal family in Ikorodu, Lagos, has dedicated over 70 years to Christian ministry.

For the past two decades, he has served as the second-in-command of the Celestial Church of Christ, exemplifying his steadfast devotion to his faith and the service of humanity.

In a statement released by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, President Tinubu praised the centenarian for his enduring contributions to Christianity and national development, particularly his efforts in promoting missionary work across Ogun State.

For seven decades as a member of the clergy and as the second in command of the Celestial Church of Christ for the past 20 years, Baba Oshin has been a steadfast servant of faith and humanity.

“His contributions to spreading good Christian values and advancing missionary activities, particularly in Ogun State, have left an indelible mark on our nation,” President Tinubu stated in his message.

The President also commended Oshin’s life of service, faith, and leadership, celebrating the milestone of reaching 100 years.

As you join the extraordinary league of centenarians, I celebrate your life of service, faith, and impact. On behalf of a grateful nation, I extend my best wishes for your continued sound health, joy, and fulfilment,” he concluded.
