2go on PC: How to download and use it
2go is a social instant messenger that can be used on both mobile phones and PCs. Originating from Johannesburg, South Africa, the mobile site allows you to communicate with your friends for free. How to download 2go on pc
If you have a PC, you can download 2go on PC and be able to enjoy 2go Chat from there with the software: 2go PC Emulator.
To be able to use 2go on PC , you would first need to register 2go and get a username and password. If you are already using 2go on your mobile phone, you do not need to do this step. Otherwise, follow our information on creating and using 2go accounts. Note that to use 2go on a PC, you must first create an account with 2go using your mobile phone. You also need to download the emulator every time you want to use 2go on a PC. You also need Java on your PC.
If you can login successfully , you will be redirected to the download page. Click on the 2go logo to download 2go on your PC. If you have a supported version of JAVA (JRE) on your computer, 2go MicroEmulator will also be downloaded onto your PC. However, if you do not have a supported version of the JAVA software on your computer, you will be automatically redirected to a page where you can download and install it on your PC before downloading and installing the 2go MicroEmulator.
Once these steps are completed, you can launch your 2go on PC to chat with your friends.

How to use 2go with friends on Facebook
After installing the 2go software, click on Go to “Settings” with your mobile phone and then to “Gateways” and click on “Facebook”. Here you can enter your Facebook credentials: your username and password. When your Facebook friends come online, you will be notified and you can start chatting. Note that your Facebook username on 2go does not match the email address you used to log into Facebook.
To get your Facebook username, visit www.facebook.com/username. This is the username you would use to login to your 2go chat application on Facebook. However, the password remains your normal Facebook password, which you would have to enter in the appropriate field.
Additional information on using 2go
You can get 2go credits which gives you access to some extra features in the application like games and competition, chat rooms, styles, star levels. However, you don’t need 2go credit to chat with your friends one by one.
