1. Creator of h3h3Productions

H3h3productions was created by Ethan Edwards Klein and his wife Hila Hakmon Klein on the popular video channel YouTube. Ethan Klein was born on June 24, 1985 of an Ashkenazi Jewish family in Ventura, California and Hila Hakmon Klein was born on December 12, 1987 in Holon, Israel to a Sephardic Jewish family.

Ethan Klein was educated at Buena High School. From 2004 to 2009 he studied literature at the University of California and graduated with an additional degree in creative writing. Hila served as a military officer in Israel for two years and briefly attended Shenkar College of Engineering Design.

The duo created the YouTube channel on April 29, 2011, but it wasn’t until two years later, in November 2013, that they uploaded their debut comic reactive video. From then on, her subscribers gradually increased to over 6 million, while her views surpassed 1.2 billion as of December 2018. Much of their content was originally made by Hila Klein.

One of the first works uploaded was the “Kiss Pranks” which racked up many views to around 4 million within months of uploading.

Later in 2016, the duo Ethan and Hila released their H3 podcast, which originally aired on Twitch before being uploaded to YouTube. In the first episode, they interviewed American animator, screenwriter, and actress Justine Roiland. Most episodes were streamed live on Twitch and released weekly and monthly.

They have enjoyed overwhelming support from other celebrities such as the Fine Brothers, Markiplier, Jacksepticeye, PewDiePie and Garry Newman have raised as much as $170,000 to cover their legal fees.

Perhaps the overwhelming support she’s received from The Past also helped boost the defense for famed YouTube star PewDiePie in 2017 after he released a controversial video in which he used Nazi jokes.
