Abigail Breslin spoke openly about her abusive relationship

During Domestic Violence Awareness Month, Little Miss Sunshine actress Abigail Breslin opened up about a previous violent relationship. On Instagram, she detailed her ordeal of two years surviving domestic violence.

Breslin had previously revealed on Instagram that she suffered from post-traumatic stress disorder as a result of being sexually assaulted by an ex-boyfriend. In both cases, she did not disclose the identity of the violent partner.

Breslin authored the following publication:

“I was in an abusive relationship for two years. Things started splendidly and I was quickly enthralled. “Unfortunately, my abuser took advantage of my naivety and naïveté and the relationship became violent as a result.”

She described the horrific assault she suffered and how she was forced to hide the truth throughout the relationship.

Breslin States,

“I was beaten regularly, locked in rooms and forced to act as if everything was fine and normal despite suffering serious injuries that few people noticed.” Her abuser subjected her to both verbal and physical torture.

In addition to the physical injuries, there were numerous verbal insults, humiliations and harsh verbal abuse.

She went on to express her gratitude to everyone who helped her during this difficult time.

These two years were the loneliest I have ever experienced. “I am eternally grateful to my family and friends, whose help was crucial and helpful in allowing me to escape this terrible situation.”

Although the Zombieland actress did not identify the abuser, the news raised questions about her personal life. Abigail Breslin had previously been linked to Freddie Highmore.

Growing up in Hollywood, Abigail Breslin is no stranger to her love life being a topic of debate.

Over the years, she has been affiliated with a variety of business professionals.

Clifford Michael

The Stillwater actress concluded her letter with the following:

“I hope that by sharing a little more about my journey I can help others feel less alone.”
