BIOGRAPHY
Italian film, television and theater actress Agnese Nano made her first appearance on screen in 1987, but became famous after her role as the young Elena Mendola in the iconic film Cinema Paradiso (1988) by Giuseppe Tornatore. Nano felt that playing Elena “was a deeply enriching experience, crucial for the development of her future career.” The actress continued to carry out numerous projects in Italy: in 1992 she starred in the popular television series Edera , later she participated in the leading role of Dr. Barbara Nardi in the television series Incantesimo , which ran for two years, from 1998 to 2000. She then participated in Carlo Verdone’s comedy Intimate Enemies (2006), starring Carlo Verdone and Silvio Muccino. She recently had a role in the American production starring Pual Rudd The Catcher Was a Spy (2018) and in the period comedy Il Regno (2020).
