BIOGRAPHY
Yoo Ah-in is a South Korean actor, creative director and gallery owner. Although he began his career in 2004, he became best known for his leading roles in the film Punch (2011), the 2014 melodrama Secret Love Affair , the action hit Veteran (2015), and the historical television series Six . Flying Dragons , which aired from 2015 to 2016. For the 2015 film, The Throne , he won Best Actor at the Blue Dragon Film Awards, and in 2016 he ranked second on the Forbes Korea Power Celebrity list. He starred in the mystery drama film Burning (2018), directed by acclaimed South Korean director Lee Chang-dong, which was based on a story by award-winning writer Haruki Murakami. For his role as Lee Jong-su, Yoo Ah-in received international critical acclaim and was included in The New York Times ‘ “The Best Actors of 2018” list , making him the only Asian and the first Korean actor in history to be on said list.
