BIOGRAPHY
Aidan Quinn was raised in an Irish family in Chicago. During his youth, the Quinns returned to Ireland before returning to the United States. After doing numerous odd jobs, he decided to concentrate on his acting career. It was in 1984 that he made his cinema debut with director James Foley ‘s first film , Reckless . He imposes a sensitive personality combined with an advantageous physique in the role of a desperate James Dean character .

The following year, he played the lead male role in Desperately Seeking Susan and in the television film An Early Frost in which he played the role of an AIDS patient. In 1986, he starred in Mission .

At the end of the 80s and in the 90s, he mainly obtained important supporting roles in The Handmaid’s Tale by Volker Schlöndorff in 1990, On the Loose in the Fields of the Lord by Hector Babenco in 1991, Benny & Joon in 1993 or even in Frankenstein by Kenneth Branagh in 1994.
