The Boston Bruins Rinkside reporter was born in New York, the United States of America. She usually celebrates her birthday on February 19th every year. There is no information on her exact year of birth or that of her parents. She has an older brother who graduated from Cornell Law School in 2015.

During high school, Alex Kraemer was very active in sporting events as a member of the Olympic development team and also served as vice-captain of the Region III Premier League. During this time, she played a key role on the football team as she helped them win three consecutive state championships. Kraemer earned a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology from the University of Georgia. While at the university, the well-known sportscaster was a member of the university’s DI baseball team, Diamond Darlings.

Alex Kraemer began her sportscasting career as a media and broadcast assistant for a professional ice hockey team, the Gwinnett Gladiators. She also worked as a writer of her post-game press releases, mostly for the home games. After a while, the beautiful sports broadcaster rose through the ranks in 2014 and became a rinkside reporter for the hockey team. She was on camera as a reporter for the remainder of the 2014–15 hockey season, conducting interviews before each Gwinnett through Gladiators’ home games. Kraemer was later granted permission to interview the hockey team at the end of each game played.
