Tolman was born Allison Cara Tolman on November 18, 1981, in Harris County, Texas. She was born as a daughter of four children to mother Valerie and father Davis Nichols Tolman. When she was a few months old, her family moved to England, where she stayed until she was four years old. After that, she moved to Oklahoma and West Texas for the next five years, before moving to Sugar Land, Texas.
From a young age, he became interested in the entertainment industry and began taking acting lessons at the Fort Bend Community Theater at the age of 10.
