Anabell Gardoqui de la Reguera, better known as Ana de la Reguera, was born on April 8, 1977, in Veracruz, Mexico.
She began her acting studies at the Veracruzano Institute of Culture, in addition to working as host of the Televisa program, Pasarela. Ella da ella’s career began on television when she was part of the cast of the soap opera Azul (1996). Her charisma and naturalness, in addition to her qualities as an actress, gave her more television opportunities, in soap operas such as Pueblo Chico, Infierno Grande (1997), Desencuentro (1998), Tentaciones (1998) and Cara o Cruz (2002). .
On television, Ana has also participated in programs such as Woman, real life cases, al Derecho y al Derbez, Llévatelo and Cómplices en familia.
Her extensive career in television led her, naturally, to venture into film, where she made her debut in the film Por la libre (2000), directed by Juan Carlos de Llaca, a film for which the actress received the Heraldo award for female revelation. Some time later she participated in the films Un secreto de Esperanza (2002), Ladies Night (2003), Así del precipicio (2006) and Nacho Libre (2006), alongside actor Jack Black.

In 2015, he participated in the series Narcos , produced by Netflix, which is inspired by the life of Pablo Escobar.
