Andrew Luck was born on September 12, 1989 in Berlin, Washington, DC He is the eldest of Kathy and Oliver Luck’s four children. Apparently, Andrew inherited his father’s athletic genes. His father Oliver, a former NFL quarterback, played for West Virginia University and the Houston Oilers in the 1980s. Andrew and his three siblings, a brother Addison and two sisters Mary Ellen and Emily, grew up partly in England and Germany as their father worked in both European countries at different times during their childhood.
Andrew attended Stratford High School where he excelled not only in academia but also in football through the Pop Warner program. He was once one of the top five prospects in Texas and one of the top 50 high school players in the United States. Glück’s athletic ability earned him various scholarship offers, but he ultimately settled on Stanford University, where he studied architectural design.
