The beautiful actress hails from North London, although she was born on 30th August 1980 in the borough of Islington in Great London, later in her life she moved to Edinburgh where she studied drama at Queen Margaret University. Angel Coulby made her television debut as a college student who encountered a ghost on an episode of the American paranormal reality series The Creepiest Places on Earth . However, this performance did not receive much attention. However, the next one did very well. Angel was cast in the role of Shiv for four episodes of the BBC series Orrible .
This propelled her to prominence on the small screen and she later landed roles in the 2002 series Accident as Sally for one episode and Having It Out as Kylie Riley for the duration of the series. Got It Out was a one-off comedy series that ran for a total of six episodes. A Good Thief , a 2002 TV movie, was to be her next on-screen appearance.
In 2003, Angel Coulby took on the role of PC Louise Fraser in the two-part ITV miniseries The Second Coming . Gwen was a maid of the seriesvillain Morgana Pendragon. Her modest backstory, simple character interactions, and eventual love interest for King Arthur made Gwen a very likable character. Angel Coulby’s portrayal of the character was loved even more.
Coulby starred in two main roles in 2013. The first was in the drama series Tanzen am Rande , a series about a black jazz band in London in the early 1930s. The co-star was in the Anglo-French crime drama The Tunnel , where she played the character Laura Roebuck. The Tunnel – an adaptation of the Danish-Swedish crime series The Bridge from 2013 to 2018.

In 2018, she landed the lead role in the crime drama Innocent as detective Cathy Hudson. The series ran for a season of four episodes, with each episode lasting 60 minutes.
