Anjali Pichai was born in the city of Kota, Rajasthan in India on the 5th of November 1972 to two parents and grew up with her brother in India. She studied at the Indian Institute of Technology in Kharagpur from 1989 and graduated in chemical engineering in 1993. It seems that the Indian Institute of Technology has made a tremendous impact on Anjali’s circle as herself, her brother and even her husband have achieved degrees from this institution.
After graduating, she was immediately employed as a managing director and operator of a company in India. This lasted for a while until she finally moved to the United States to continue her education there. She is currently employed as Business Operations Manager at Intuit – an American business and financial software company dedicated to the development and distribution of financial, accounting and tax preparation software and related services to small businesses, accountants and individuals . The technology company is headquartered in Mountain View, California.
