Austin Brown is a sensational musician from the Jackson 5 family through his mother. The Jackson 5 family are a legendary singing group from Gary, Indiana who rose to fame for their dynamic performances and upbeat sound in the 1970s. Rebbie and Nathaniel were childhood sweethearts, one of the main reasons the former didn’t want him slipping out of her hands. Eventually, Joseph finally allowed his daughter to bond with the young man but refused to walk her down the aisle.

The couple’s marriage was blessed with three children, including Austin Brown. The names of her older siblings are Stacee Brown (born May 5, 1971) and Yashi Brown (born October 5, 1977). Austin’s parents remained married until January 6, 2013, when Nathaniel, of African American descent, died of cancer.

The singer’s immediate younger sister, YashiBrown is a talented singer-songwriter, and a poet renowned for her book, Black Daisy in a White Limousine: 77 Poems. Stacee, meanwhile, is also a successful singer and mother to one. She is currently married to popular musician/songwriter/producer Rex Salas and they share a son, London Blue Salas (born July 25, 2005).
