BIOGRAPHY
Axelle Laffont, daughter of the famous TV presenter Patrice Laffont and granddaughter of the founder of Editions Robert Laffont , began her career on television by working for Canal + on the humorous program “Les guignols de l’info” in 1988. She began in as an actress under the direction of Edouard Molinaro for the TV films The Abandoned Woman in 1992 and What Maisie Knew in 1995. The famous director offered her her first role on the big screen the following year with the character of Mariette Lejay in Beaumarchais , the insolent alongside Fabrice Luchini and Sandrine Kiberlain .
The actress then returned to television to present Arthur’s show “La Matinale” alongside the famous presenter. She worked on this program from 1996 to 1999 before being hired by Canal + for “La Grosse Emission” from 1999 to 2000. Subsequently, the crazy Axelle became known to the general public with the presentation of La Météo in the cult show “Nulle part autre” between 2000 and 2001.
