BIOGRAPHY
Composing with the singers Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams the R&B trio Destiny’s Child, Beyoncé Knowles continues hits with her group from 1997: Say my name , Survivor , Independent women (flagship track from the soundtrack of Charlie and his funny ladies ) to quote only those. The border between music and cinema being thin, the luscious artist easily crossed it to become in 2002 Foxxy Cleopatra, the new muse of the famous libidinous agent in Austin Powers in Goldmember , a film for which she performed numerous titles, notably Work it out.

Between a solo career ( Crazy in love ) and a last album with Destiny’s Child ( Fulfilled in 2004), the beauty finds a few roles related to her profession as a musical artist: jazz singer converted to gospel in The Fighting temptations ( 2003) and pop star in The Pink Panther (2005), she performed in 2006 Dreamgirls , a film inspired by the story of the Motown group Diana Ross & The Supremes.

After a few roles in little-known films, such as Cadillac Records (2009) or Obsessed (id.), the singer turned to animation and lent her voice to the character of Queen Tara in the new film from Blue Sky studios , Epic : Battle for the Secret Realm (2013). That same year, she was also credited in the cast of The Great Gatsby as a performer on the song “Back to Black”.
