The media personality was born in California, United States on October 7, 1992. She is the daughter of Theodore and Sabrina Pettibone. Her father campaigned for the governorship of Kansas as part of the Reform Party during the 2002 US gubernatorial election. She has a twin sister named Nichole Pettibone and six other siblings. She had her childhood experience in Kansas. Brittany Pettibone attended Thomas More High School in San Jose with her twin sister during her freshman year and was later homeschooled.

They chose the pseudonym TS Pettibone for the book, which is an abbreviation of their parents’ names in their honor. Hate Day was published by Pettibone alongside her twin sister and was released on January 29, 2016. It is the first publication in the authors’ planned seven-book series, which focuses primarily on the world of fantasy. Brittany Pettibone has cited John Truby as her influence on her writing.
