Cassidy Gifford is an American actress and daughter of legendary former NFL player Frank Gifford. She is best known for her role in the 2014 film God’s Not Dead. The actress also appeared in The Gallows and Temporal Trap. Cassidy was born on August 2, 1993 in Greenwich, Connecticut to Frank and Kathie Lee Gifford. She is the youngest of two children born to the couple, the other being a boy named Cody. Cassidy also has older half-siblings Kyle, Jeff and Vicky Gifford Kennedy, all from her father’s former marriage. She’s still a young woman now, which means she still has some great years ahead of her to build her career and make the most of her time in Hollywood. She has plenty of opportunities to arrive on her doorstep and she’s been smart to take advantage of some of them so far.
The actress started her career in 2005 when she made her television debut on an episode of It’s So Raven, but she wasn’t able to give her full attention to acting because she also explored other interests and activities. Cassidy Gifford went on to star in The Gallows, a horror film about a spirit who is conjured up and refuses to leave without harming those responsible. Later, she appeared in God Is Not Dead, a film revolving around a debate about the likelihood of God’s existence, whether there is belief or not.

His father – Frank Gifford
Cassidy’s father, Frank Gifford was an American football player, sports commentator and actor. He spent 12 glorious years playing as a flanker and a half for the New York Giants before retiring and becoming a commentator and play-by-play announcer for Monday Night Football on ABC. He received the NFL Most Valuable Player award in 1956, the year the Giants won the NFL championship. Frank Gifford was an eight-time Pro Bowler. He became an Emmy-winning broadcaster, whose work on Monday Night Live, the Olympics and the world of sports has been respected as the gold standard for sports broadcasting. In July 1977, Frank was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
He married famed TV host Kathie Lee Gifford, known for anchoring the Today, as well as Live! with Regis and Kathie Lee. She received 11 Daymy Emmy nominations, some of which she took home. Kathie is also a successful songwriter, singer and author having released several books and albums to her name. She’s a woman who wears many professional hats and is very accomplished in their midst. Kathie has written plays and musicals for Broadway. She is also an entrepreneur with her own fashion line. Frank and Kathie remained married until his death of natural causes on August 9, 2015, just a week before his 85th birthday.
