Born in New York, Charles Peckham Day learned to play the piano at an early age, his parents both being music teachers. After his studies, he is determined to become an actor.
After television debuts ( New York 911 and Luis ), he starred in the horror film Campfire Stories with Rob McElhenney . In 2005, he reunited with the latter for the series It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia . In addition to playing one of the three “heroes”, Charlie Day also participates in the writing and production of the series. Which did not prevent him, at the same time, from launching into cinema.
In 2011, he joined the cast of Too Far for You with Drew Barrymore , and then appeared in How to Kill Your Boss? , once again demonstrating his comedic talents. In the film, he teams up with Jason Bateman and Jason Sudeikis to get rid of Jennifer Aniston , his tyrannical and nymphomaniac boss.
2013 is a busy year for Charlie Day who discovers dubbing thanks to the new animated film from Pixar Studios: in Monsters Academy , he lends his voice to the character of Art. He also starred in Guillermo del Toro ‘s blockbuster Pacific Rim , in which robots created by humans fight monsters from the depths.
