Cyril Lignac Biography
Cyril Lignac was born on November 5, 1977 in Rodez in Aveyron. Chef and owner of a gourmet restaurant, he is particularly known for the culinary programs he hosts on the M6 channel. After training in his native region, he perfected his skills alongside the greatest chefs and confirmed his desire to make cooking is his job.
After opening his own gourmet restaurant in Paris, he took over the bistro Le Chardenoux and decided in 2010 to share his passion with the general public by opening a culinary creation workshop. Spotted shortly after, Cyril Lignac took part in several programs on M6, including “Oui chef!” in 2005, then “Chef, the recipe!”, followed by “Long live the canteen!” and more recently “The Chef Strikes Back”.
In January 2010, he took control of “MIAM: Mon Invitation À Manger”, a weekly show produced by the company of which he is the manager: Kitchen Factory Productions. A month later, he coaches the candidates for the show “Top Chef”, still on M6. Never far from his favorite field, Cyril Lignac even lends his voice to the character of Lalo in the French version of the animated film “Ratatouille”, released in 2007.
