Dale Midkiff was born on the 1 ^st of July 1959, in Chance, Maryland. Dale attended Edgewood High School in Maryland. He started acting in a children’s theater where he played Jack in a production of Jack and the Beanstalk.

As a high school student, his acting skills were never in doubt; he acted in school plays and plays, winning awards. After high school in 1977, Dale continued his education at Salisbury University in Salisbury, Maryland, where he studied Communication Arts with a major in English and Philosophy.
