The esteemed actress was born on March 13, 1956 in New York City to Jack and Mary Delany. She grew up in a solid Roman Catholic family alongside her sister Corey and brother Sean. She spent most of her early teens in Stamford, Connecticut. Dana Delany is of mixed ethnicity and holds American citizenship.
Regarding her education, she attended Phillips Academy in Andover, Massachusetts and later continued her education at Wesleyan University.
