Dana’s entry into the entertainment world was quite early. Although she continued to have a formal education through college, attending DePaul University in Chicago and earning a bachelor’s degree in media communications in 2005, she began acting as a child. She made her debut in a radio commercial for her father’s clothing store. She first made money as an actress when she was 11 when she appeared on a weekly dinner show. A varied start to her entertainer career was acting for the environmental comedy Tony ‘n’ Tina’s Wedding on the Chicago theater scene.
