David Cross Bio
David Cross had a bad upbringing, his family was far too poor for him to make the decision to change his life at every opportunity. They were never stable in one place as they moved from one part of the country to another in search of greener pastures. Sure, his birth on April 4, 1964 in Atlanta, Georgia could be described as one that caused mixed feelings for his parents, but all hell broke loose when his father, Barry, left home at ten. It was difficult after that, but the young comedian didn’t give up easily. After his father left, he and his two sisters, Juli and Wendy Cross, were single-handedly raised by his mother, Susi. He still does not have a good relationship with his father, as records say he has had him since he was 19.
The comedian’s family is Jewish and that’s how he was brought up. However, as David grew up, he decided to forego the teachings he had learned and become an atheist. On several occasions he claims that he does not believe that there is a God, but that there is a We.
For his educational commitment, the comedian attended Northside High School. After high school, he had his plans to be a comedian in his heart, but decided to find employment and worked at a lawn care company. When he was not satisfied with his work, he decided instead to continue his education at Emerson College Boston. He had little or no interest in most of the happenings at school, focusing mostly on growing the comedy sketch group he had joined, which is pathetic. His dreams weren’t locked in school walls, so he left to pursue his comedy career. At this point he blew his trumpet from there and within a very short time reached an immeasurable pinnacle of success.
David Cross also walked the path of a television writer; he was the creator of the popular HBO sketch comedy series, Mr. Show . Prior to producing the comedy show, he wrote for The Ben Stiller Show and received an Emmy Award for his incredible screenwriting. A few years later he got a movie role in Men in Black (1997) and also starred as Newton in the movie sequel Men in Black II (2002) . He then appeared as one of the top actors in the television sitcom, Arrested Development (2003-2006) . Time and time again, the comedian has proven his acting skills in many other films and shows.
