Like his partner, Tuck is of Palestinian descent.

DJ Khaled Family, Son
Coming from a family he describes as “great”, DJ Khaled described himself as a family man. He announced his wife’s pregnancy exclusively to PEOPLE in May 2016.
“I always wanted kids,” he told the magazine. “It’s my first child and I’m excited and want more. I always wanted to be a father. I am in a big family and I want to have my own family at the same time. “

On October 23, 2016 at 2:05 a.m., Khaled and Tuck welcomed their first number, a son named Asahd Tuck Khaled. He weighed 7 pounds, 14 oz. and measured 21.5 inches long. Asahd is Arabic for lion.
Atypical of Khaled, he documented the entire working process online. When asked about his wife’s feelings about documenting the labor process online, Khaled replied:
“The key is that I’m the king and every queen should support the king. I’m going to talk to the doctor and if he says it’s going to be okay, that means we want to make sure the queen is right and that my son is right. If all goes well where I can do whatever I want, I’m totally Snapchat.”
