Eoin Christopher Macken was born on February 21, 1983, in Dublin, Ireland. Information regarding his early life is not available, however, we do know that he started his showbiz career in college. He modeled at the University College Dublin fashion shows in 2002 and 2003, after which he signed with a modeling agency. His modeling career was very busy thereafter, as he worked with some of the biggest names in fashion including Abercrombie and Fitch, Ralph Lauren and GQ magazine.

Eoin Macken’s father was a lawyer and his mother earned her living as a nurse. He grew up alongside two sisters, Niamh and Freya. Just like her famous brother, Niamh Macken is also involved in showbiz, not as an actor but as a special effects artist.

Sadly, Macken’s father, James, passed away in 2007 after suffering a brain tumor. However, the movie star continued to hold her father’s memory very close to her heart. He has a unique necklace on which are his father’s wedding ring and an Egyptian charm from his mother. An eccentric gem!
