The beautiful and talented Peyton Royce has been a mainstay for many years of WWE’s developmental brand, NXT. Fans who watch the brand’s episodes can attest to that. Find out everything there is to know about Lady Royce, her journey to the big screen and her WWE career.

Peyton Royce bio

Peyton Royce was born on November 10, 1992 in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. Later, she would move to Melbourne. She attended Westfields Sports High School, located on the outskirts of Sydney. The school is a dedicated sports high school.

Interestingly, wrestling wasn’t always the focus of Peyton’s first love. In her youth, she was keen to pursue a career in dance. Perhaps his dance knowledge is a reason for the suppleness and elegance that have become synonymous with his fighting style. She has an impressive array of stylish kicks that blend ballerina and martial artist.

She started watching wrestling when she was nine and was thirteen when she realized she wanted to become a professional wrestler. Growing up, she was heavily inspired by the legendary Eddie Guerrero.

Miss Peyton ventured into sports entertainment with NXT Superstar and her close friend Billie Kay, training in Sydney, Australia. She moved to Calgary, Alberta, Canada where she met the iconic Lance Storm. Tutoring Lance was an important part of his training, providing him with the skills needed to excel on the big stage.

Peyton joined the Pro Wrestling Women’s Alliance (PWWA), making her wrestling debut on February 28, 2009. She faced Madison Eagles and Mike Valuable in a tag team match pitting her opponents against Robbie Eagles. His team won the game. During her time there, she racked up many wins and painful losses, unsuccessfully challenging the Madison Eagles for the championship. Peyton Royce was part of the PWWA for quite a while and was on the independent circuit from 2009 to 2015 when she made the jump to World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE).

His career in WWE

Peyton was on tour in Australia when she received a WWE tryout in August 2014. According to her, she cried hysterically when she received the news. In April 2015, Peyton was announced by WWE as part of a new set of trainees and was signed by NXT.

Her in-ring debut was a loss to NXT Women’s Champion Sasha Banks. The following week, she was once again beaten by Eva Marie. On August 7, 2015, she received the new ring name – Peyton Royce. Prior to this, she had been identified as Cassidy and Cassie in previous matches.

In October, Peyton formed an alliance with fellow Australian wrestler, Billie Kay. They would later be known as the Iconic Duo. The duo would fight feuds in the women’s division, battling superstars such as Liv Morgan and Asuka. Peyton had title opportunities but couldn’t take advantage of them. Nonetheless, she made her first mainline appearance at WrestleMania 34 on April 8, 2018.

Immediately after WrestleMania, Royce and Kaya debuted on the blue brand, SmackDown, when they attacked SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair, leaving her in a heap. They were dubbed The IIconics and earned their first SmackDown victory over Becky Lynch and Asuka. Charlotte would later get revenge when she defeated Peyton in a qualifying match for the Money in the Bank fight.

Lesser known facts about Peyton Royce

1. Her real name is Cassie McIntosh. Peyton Royce was a first name she adopted when she moved to NXT.

2. She went to the same high school with her IIconics friend, Billie Kay. They both attended Westfield Sports High School.

3. The two men weren’t the best friend we know today, they don’t like each other back home in Australia.

4 Peyton is truly gorgeous and attracts a huge number of fans. She has a long-term relationship with WWE Superstar Tye Dillinger. They went public with their relationship in 2017, but they maintained a high level of confidentiality around their private lives.

5. Peyton Royce is 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs 132 pounds.
