Dexter Tiewon Gore Jr. was born in Chicago on September 6, 1993, and grew up on the city’s South Side. After the death of his mother in September 2014, he wanted to pursue music. In 2016 he got a pink bow tattooed on his face to honor his mother after she lost her battle with breast cancer.
