BIOGRAPHY
Finn Wittrock grew up not far from the Shakespeare and Company theater stage, where his father gave lessons to future actors. He thus attended numerous performances without feeling the need to try his luck and prove himself.
Aged 19, Finn Wittrock took his first steps on television in the series Cold Case: Closed Cases in 2003, then in Emergency a few months later. Occupying small roles, he does not necessarily have the time to convince, or even to prove that his acting is worth more than a simple appearance here and there. In 2004, he was in the cast of the TV movie The Witches of Halloween 3 . The actor played, at the same time, in an episode of CSI: Miami , then disappeared from the sets for six years.
In 2010, the actor joined for the first time a project which had the honors of a cinema release. Joel Schumacher indeed offered him a role in Twelve . The film was relatively poorly received but allowed Finn to gain notoriety. He also played Damon Miller for two years in the series The Force of Destiny . If he continues to temporarily occupy the sets of various other series ( Torchwood , Harry’s Law , Criminal Minds , New York – Special Unit , etc.), the actor is becoming more and more present in the cinema.
Finn Wittrock thus plays in A Winter’s Love alongside Colin Farrell and especially NoĆ© under the direction of Darren Aronofsky . At the same time, he was asked by Showtime to play Dale in four episodes of Master of Sex and by FX to lend his features to Dandy Mott in season 4 of American Horror Story . At the beginning of 2015, the comedian starred in Invincible , the second film by Angelina Jolie .
Alongside his acting career, Finn Wittrock made his Broadway debut in Revival Death of a Salesman (2012) with Philip Seymour Hoffman . He also appears at the Goodman Theater in Sweet Bird of Youth and opposite Sarah Wayne Callies in La Garde , at the Kennedy Center.
