Gimena Gómez is a Mexican actress and singer who spent much of her childhood in Boca del Río, Veracruz, where she began taking acting and theater classes, driven, mainly, by her parents and the admiration they had for said profession. In 1998, Gimena and her family moved to the State of Mexico, where the girl began to prepare, more seriously, for acting.

After studying theater in several workshops, Gimena decides to move to Mexico City to study acting at Casa Azul. During her time at school, Gimena began to participate in plays, short films and some small television roles. In 2010, the actress participated in the plays The Dead , directed by Martín Acosta, and The Prodigal Father, which was presented at the INBA theater.

Gimena made her film debut with the film Everybody Has Someone Except Me (2012). The actress achieved great popularity with her role as Clara Palacios, in the series Niñas mal (2013), which was followed by participation in series such as La Malquerida (2014), where she worked in 114 episodes, Mozart in the Jungle (2015), El Cesar (2017) and will soon appear in the films Tipo de Cambio (2018) and Escuela para seductores (2018)
