BIOGRAPHY
English stage and screen actor, writer and filmmaker Harry Macqueen trained at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. His professional debut as an actor was in Richard Linklater’s 2008 film, Me and Orson Welles . In 2012, he played Jed Quinn in the hit British television show Eastenders . As an actor, he also highlighted his participation in Provenance (2017), for which he won Best Supporting Actor at the Madrid International Film Festival. Macqueen made his directorial debut with Hinterland (2014), a drama film in which he also acted, for which he was nominated for Best British Debut at the Raindance Film Festival and Best Debut Film at the Beijing International Film Festival. His second film From him Supernova (2020), starring Colin Firth and Stanley Tucci, had its world premiere at the San Sebastián Film Festival and was selected for the BFI London Film Festival.
