Heather Clem was born Heather Dawn Cole on July1, 1974, in West Virginia, United States. No information is available about her parents, early life, and education, but we do know that she graduated from the University of Arizona.
Heather Clem’s affair with Hulk Hogan
Heather was Bubba’s relatively unknown ex-wife until a scandalous sex tape involving her and Terry Bollea, popularly known as Hulk Hogan, was leaked online in 2012 by Gawker, a New York-based media outlet.
The escapade took place around 2006 when Heather was still dating Bubba and Hogan was married to his then-wife Linda. Interestingly, the illicit affair was actually Bubba’s idea and while Hulk Hogan’s marriage was in trouble, his best friend Bubba Heather offered to cheer up his pal after his marriage collapsed and Hogan agreed. When the sex tape was filmed, Hogan blamed his then-wife Linda for his infidelity, claiming she made him cheat because she had emotionally and verbally abused him.
A few weeks later after Heather realized that Bubba had secretly recorded the explicit footage and was upset when she demanded the video be destroyed. She is believed to have done so until the tape appeared on Gawker in October 2012. All those affected said they had no idea who leaked the video to the media company.
As a result, Hulk Hogan sued Gawker for sharing the short clip, which quickly went viral. He argued that the released video was an invasion of his privacy, caused mental harassment and damaged his personal life. The former WWE Heavyweight Champion was awarded $140 million in damages by Gawker in 2016. He also sought damages from Bubba the love sponge and his estranged wife Heather Clem for filming him in the sex act, which he said was recorded without his permission.
When Gawker posted the video clip online, Heather said she just wanted the whole thing to fade, but felt more embarrassed when Hogan started speaking to the press and went to court. However, she testified against Gawker Media for his case and later publicly apologized to Hogan. Bubba and Hogan reportedly settled the lawsuit for $5,000 after the sex tape was leaked.
But the short clip was just one of the other multiple times Heather had made out with Hogan at the behest of her then-husband. The duo had sex on four separate occasions in her bedroom, at his house, at Clem’s studio and once at a Tennessee hotel.
Multiple sources later claimed that Heather Clem committed such torts with many other men at her husband’s request while she was still married, which were also recorded by him. Some of the additional sex tapes were filmed in Bubba’s bedroom using an overhead surveillance type camera with the various men knowing they were being filmed.

Heather Cole was the second wife of BubbaLove Sponge Clem, who was born Todd Alan Clem but officially changed his name to a fellow DJ’s nickname in 1999. The former couple wed on January 14, 2007 in a quiet ceremony at the Baptist Church in St. Petersburg, Florida. Heather and Clem divorced on September 15, 2011, and the union produced no children.
However, Heather has a daughter from Julia Champher previous marriage. It is speculated that the sex tape scandal severely affected the marriage, ultimately leading to divorce. Known for controversy, Heather describes Clem as funny and loving, but also manipulative, selfish, intimidating, and hurtful.
