BIOGRAPHY
Propelled to the forefront from an early age, Hilary Duff began her career at the age of 6 by appearing in television commercials. She continued a few years later with successful TV films, such as Casper and Wendy and The Soul Collector .

In 2001, the young girl became the heroine of the series Lizzie McGuire . For three consecutive seasons, she distinguished herself in her role as an ultra-mature teenager and became famous around the world. Given the success of the series, Lizzie McGuire was adapted for the big screen. Alongside her acting career, Hilary Duff took her first steps in music: after recording a few singles for Disney, the young girl performed on stage in a duet with her older sister, Haylie Duff . In 2003, her career as a singer took off, since her first album was a great success and earned her a double gold disc.

Without leaving her acting career aside, she juggles between the small screen ( Cadet Kelly ) and the big screen. In Like Cinderella , she opposite Chad Michael Murray before sharing the poster for Cody Banks: Secret Agent with Frankie Muniz aka Malcolm . Faithful to the comic register, Hilary Duff proves it once again with her performance in Thirteen by the Dozen , by Shawn Levy . In this family comedy, the singer-actress is the daughter of Steve Martin and the sister of Tom Welling . An adventure which continues in a second part , two years after the original. Two performances which earned him a nomination for the Razzie Awards, along with his role in Material Girls . In 2009, she changed register somewhat and starred opposite John Cusack and Marisa Tomei in the satirical comedy War, Inc .. A caricature of the American model that was very poorly received in the United States since the film was only distributed in around thirty theaters.
