BIOGRAPHY
Son of an actor and a theater producer, Iain Armitage was immersed in an artistic universe very early on. At age 3, he attended his first Broadway performance and began posting reviews on his YouTube channel. Thus spotted by an agent, the young talent did not take long to appear on the screens. In 2017, the boy first participated in an episode of New York Special Unit , in the shoes of a child being kidnapped, then was revealed to the general public thanks to the role of Ziggy in the HBO mini-series, Big Little Lies . Accused of violence against one of his classmates, the latter is nevertheless defended by his mother, Jane Chapman ( Shailene Woodley ).

Iain Armitage then rubbed shoulders with the big names of American cinema, such as Woody Harrelson in The Glass Castle , or even Jane Fonda and Robert Redford in Our Souls at Night , before lending his features to Sheldon Cooper in Young Sheldon . This spin-off of The Big Bang Theory focuses on the youth of the incorrigible geek played by Jim Parsons , and in particular on his return to high school when he was only 9 years old. The aspiring comedian then joined the cast of I’m Not Here , also including JK Simmons and Mandy Moore .
