Biography of Jeremy Wade
The fish angler and TV presenter was born JeremyJohn Wade on March 23, 1956 in Ipswich, United Kingdom. He seemed to have loved animal life from an early age and had a clear direction for the career path he hoped to pursue. This is evident in the educational choices he made throughout his school years. After Wade graduated from Dean Close School, a preparatory school, he studied zoology at Bristol University. After graduating, he earned a post-graduate teaching certificate after specializing in life sciences at the University of Kent.
Jeremy Wade worked as a biology teacher in a high school, but he didn’t stay there long. Due to his love of wildlife, he has traveled the world hunting and researching different species of aquatic life. One of those trips was to India, where he was searching for the endangered Golden Himalayan Mahseer. The discoveries he made there did not excite him in any way and made him tour all the more.
The TV series River Monsters grew out of one of those tours; The people of the Himalayan foothills happened to be missing during their visits to the river and this caught Wade’s attention and challenged him. He came up with the concept of river monsters and caught his espionage on camera. The series debuted on May 5, 2010 to the public

Jeremy Wade is an attractive man, even at such an advanced age. Since his work is more interesting for the men than for the ladies, he garnered more male fans than female ones, leading many to question if he is gay. Fans are taking to social media to make it known how much they love him, who has raised many eyebrows, mostly because Wade is single and has no intentions of starting a family.
In a mini-interview with Jeremy Wade’s brother, explained that Wade was very talented and passionate about fishing. He said Wade’s passion for his career started from childhood when he was trained to fish. He explains that it’s the same passion that keeps Wade so focused on his career that everything else, including starting a family, seems unimportant to him. Wade has continuously devoted decades of his life to finding aquatic monsters. He considers marriage a side issue, hence his current status.

It was then that he quit his job to pursue his passion and this caused heartbreak for the woman he loved who saw him as a loafer. Jeremy Wade discontinued the River Monster Show in 2017 and went on quite a long hiatus. But he’s back and has better ideas to anchor a new show called Jeremy Wades Dark Waters which aired on Cable Network. The plot for this series is similar to that of River Monster.
